…OK, a little more than half way through the most recent Ebola countdown. We’ve gone more than 21 days since the last patients of the most recent outbreak were discharged as survivors. If we continue, we should be Ebola free (again) in early September.
I hate to say it, but many of us have sort of lost track. Ebola is no longer front and center in everything we do. We’re much more focused on picking up where we left off about a year ago than on the most recent outbreak. I think it may be justified since Liberia got the cases under control immediately. They’ve shown they can handle it now, and without the fear that the virus will immediately explode out of control.
